Human

Humanity in Alberetor is old and varied — scholars argue about deep-history kinship with the clanfolk beyond the wilds to the north, and no two villages entirely agree on where their ancestors came from. What's certain is that Alberetor itself is a land of settled towns, disciplined armies, old hierarchies, and older grudges — a people who've built and rebuilt on the same ground for generations, with no thought yet of abandoning it. Whatever waits beyond the Titans is someone else's problem, someday.

The Legion, of course, draws from far more than just Alberetor. Its ranks hold Vercians, Castarosi, Kalithari, Zaljani, and stranger folk still — pressed together by a war that doesn't care where anyone was born. A legionnaire's homeland shapes how they talk, what they swear by, and what they miss most on a cold watch — but out here, "human" mostly just means one more body standing in the line.
